Opening Ceremony of the Algerian National Primary Festival of Team Sports

Within the programme of the Algerian School Sport Federation, 14 July, 2021, saw the opening ceremony of the National Festival for Team Sports in the city of Tipaza, hosted by its President Izem Abdelhafid. Present during the ceremony were Secretary General of the National Ministry of Education, Governor of the City, Director of Sports of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Director of Education, President of the People’s Provincial Assemblies (APW), Directorate for Youth and Sports (DJS), several deputies of the city ​​as well as Presidents of various federations, welcoming a total of 930 participants (430 boys, 350 girls and 150 supervisors). The festival will continue until the 19 July 2021.

As part of the programme of the Algerian School Sport Federation three important sporting events have been scheduled during the period from 4-19 July, gathering a total of 4000 athletes.

National School and University Sports Games from 4-11 July (for the first time since 1979)
